Disney Cars 2 is a computer designed film which included voice overs for the figures. The voice of Lightning McQueen was done by Owen Wilson. Three of the people today that did voice acting in the first film died before the creating of Disney Cars 2.

McQueen comes home to Radiator Springs to reconnect with his best close friend, which is a beat up tow truck called Mater and Sally Carrera McQueen\’s girlfriend. during the film Mater and Sally convince Lightning McQueen to participate in the World Grand Prix and to take Mater with him. Mater constantly embarrasses McQueen while in Japan. While there Professor Zundapp and a bunch of lemon cars plots to use a weapon that is disguised to look like a television camera to cause an explosion of Allinol fuel to make the general public believe that the fuel is not safe. This plan was to get the dependence of the open public on the biggest untapped oil reserves which belongs to Professor Zundapp. There are British spies that try to foil the plan but mistake Mater as the american contact they were expecting.

Because of relying on some guidance that was given to him by Mater, Lightning McQueen lost the race. After getting upset with Mater for losing the race, McQueen berates Mater causing him to decide to go back to Radiator Springs. Before Mater could leave the British spies enlist him to help foil the plan of Zundapp. Mater is eventually knighted by the queen for his projects in revealing the plan of Professor Zundapp.

were designed primarily by Mattel and LEGO. LEGO actually developed an official trlr for Pixar Cars 2 utilizing the LEGO blocks. Some other cars 2 toys come with die-cast cars, Disney Cars 2 video clip video game titles as well as PEZ sweet dispensers featuring the figures from pixar cars 2.
